How Padel Ledger data works

Every record in the Ledger follows the same rules. This page is the contract behind our data.

The two-source rule

A court or club project enters the database as verified only when two independent sources confirm it — e.g., an operator announcement plus a booking platform listing, or local press plus a building permit. Single-source items are held as unconfirmed and marked that way.

Freshness

Open venues are re-verified on a rolling cycle (target: every record checked within 90 days). Projects under construction are re-checked more frequently as their opening dates approach. Published records display their last-verified date.

Sources we use

Operator websites and booking platforms, local and trade press, permits and public records, the United States Padel Association’s public information, and direct confirmation from clubs and builders. Community reports are leads, never sources — they get verified like everything else.

Corrections

Wrong data in a directory is a defect, not a shrug. If you spot an error, email info@padelledger.com — corrections ship fast and we note material ones.

Automation, disclosed

Padel Ledger uses automated systems to discover and monitor sources at a scale one person couldn’t. Automation gathers; the rules above decide what gets published.
